Counseling for Teens, Adults, and Couples

    My Approach

I believe therapy is most meaningful when it is grounded in authentic human connection, flexibility, and a deep understanding of each person’s unique experiences. No two individuals are the same, which is why I approach counseling with the belief that therapy should never be one-size-fits-all. My goal is to meet clients where they are emotionally, mentally, and personally while creating a space that feels safe, collaborative, and supportive.

I value the therapeutic relationship as an essential part of the healing process and strive to nurture that connection through compassion, attentiveness, and genuine care. I understand that growth often happens gradually, and I work alongside clients at a pace that feels realistic and sustainable for them.

My approach integrates evidence-based therapeutic practices with a relational and individualized style of care. By combining the science behind effective therapy with empathy and practical support, I help clients develop insight, resilience, healthier coping strategies, and meaningful change in their daily lives.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, or personal growth, my hope is to provide a grounded and supportive environment where healing and self-understanding can unfold naturally.

    Anxiety / Depression Therapy

Anxiety and depression can make even simple parts of life feel heavy, isolating, or overwhelming—but therapy offers a place where you don’t have to carry that alone. Together, we slow things down, make sense of what’s been happening internally, and gently begin to untangle the patterns that keep you stuck. We focus on helping you notice unhelpful thought cycles, build practical coping tools, and reconnect with what matters to you. The work is collaborative and paced with you—meeting you where you are, not where you “should” be—so healing feels both grounded and sustainable.

    Stress Management

Stress has a way of piling up quietly until it starts to feel like it’s running everything—your thoughts, your energy, even your ability to rest. In therapy, we slow things down and take a closer look at what’s been weighing on you, without judgment or pressure. Together, we figure out what’s fueling the stress and build realistic ways to respond that feel manageable in your actual life, not just in theory.

    Trauma Counseling

Living through trauma can leave you feeling unsettled in your own body, like parts of the past still show up in the present when you least expect it. You might notice it in your reactions, your relationships, or in moments where everything feels suddenly overwhelming for no clear reason. In trauma counseling, we focus on framework of safety, trust, and choice—so you’re always in control of the pace and direction of our work. There’s no pressure to explain everything or revisit more than you’re ready for. Instead, we focus on helping you feel more grounded in the present.

Healing does not always happen in large moments. Sometimes it begins quietly — in being heard, in choosing to keep going, and in allowing yourself the grace to grow one step at a time.
